Let JPL Productions' Interns Satisfy Your Communication Needs
Are you a non-profit organization that needs to:
- Generate awareness about an issue
- Reach out to those who need your services
- Publicize the services you provide
- Communicate to those you already serve
JPL invites you to submit an Intern Project Request!
As a part of the Internship Program at JPL Productions, non-profit organizations in the Central Pennsylvania area can submit applications explaining their communications needs — and potentially have a video, web site, CD-ROM, or other communication tool produced at nearly no cost to you.
How does this work?
The JPL Internship Program gives students, interested in various aspects of media creation, the opportunity to select and produce a non-profit project of their choice.
The program also offers you the opportunity to obtain a professionally produced communication tool that will help your organization achieve its goals - without expending hard-earned funding! Out of pocket costs such as those for professional talent, tape stock, hosting, printing and
dubbing are the only costs that you will incur from the production of your project and are typically very minimal. All services provided by the interns are at no cost to you.
After spending a few weeks gaining real-world experience along side our seasoned staff, our interns are
asked to select and produce a non-profit project (under the supervision of JPL mentors). The interns then
spend most of their remaining time at JPL working with the non-profit organization of their choice to create
a high-quality production that your organization can use to reach its goals. The interns can use the project
to showcase what they've learned at JPL during their internship.

What do you need to do?
First, fill out and submit the Intern Project Request Form (PDF). You can submit as many project proposals as you'd
like, but keep in mind that our interns are given the opportunity to select what project they'd like to pursue.
There is no guarantee that your project will be selected.
Once received, your application will go into a file of potential projects for our team of enthusiastic interns to
choose from. Be sure that you clearly state your organization's need and objectives in your request. This
helps our interns select a project that will best fit their skills and interests.
If our team of interns selects your project, they'll contact you and begin the production process. It's
extremely important that you are able to assist the interns in coordinating the project and gathering
necessary organizational information and materials for the interns. Remember that productions of this
nature take collaboration on both ends in order to ensure the best final product possible.
If you're interested, be sure to fill out the Intern Project
Request Form (PDF) and send it to:
