FastTrack to Sports

Increase the number of participants in Hershey's Track and Field games from 400,000 to 1,000,000 kids.

JPL partnered with The Hershey Company to create "FastTrack to Sports." The program is designed to give children a strong background in running, jumping and throwing skills that will serve them well in all sports and throughout their lives. As a USA Track and Field Sponsor, Hershey enlisted today's hottest Olympic track stars along with Olympic legends Rafer Johnson, Bruce Jenner, Carl Lewis and Michael Johnson to provide tips and inspire young people to be their best. JPL designed and developed an integrated program that includes an interactive DVD, printed coach's manual and player cards.

The Hershey Track and Field Games Board was thrilled with the program, which was also embraced by the National Parks and Recreation Association. An expanded version tailored specifically for schools is scheduled for distribution in 2008.
