How do you make your viewers feel like they are in the middle of the action, before it even happens? Answer...the Steadicam.

Liberty Productions (now Motor Trend Auto Shows, Inc.) wanted to produce a national advertising campaign to generate interest and increase attendance at auto shows across the country. With that in mind, we provided the specific technical expertise using our Steadicam to capture a fast-paced view of The Baltimore International Auto Show. The :30 commercial needed to feature sponsors, and promote dates, times and ticket information for auto shows located across America.

The footage shot with the Steadicam provided an attention-grabbing introduction and stimulating background images throughout the commercial. With the Steadicam, our Steadicam operators and production team was able to speed up, slow down and make quick changes in direction to give the viewer a sense that they are driving or flying through the show. At the same time, the Steadicam team provided smooth, continuous camera movement that traditional equipment cannot accomplish, especially in a confined, crowded space.
