"Because They Need You – Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse"

Develop a tool to assist professionals working with children in recognizing and responding to the signs and symptoms of abuse and neglect.

JPL developed a CD-ROM that includes comprehensive information about how to report suspected abuse, what responsibilities are imposed by law, and how to work with designated investigative and protective agencies. The CD-ROM also contains scenario-based exercises, FAQs, an exam to test knowledge, helpful forms and directories, and other resources to aide professionals who work with children.

According to our client, this tool effectively addresses the needs of people who do not have the time or ability to participate in on-site training. It allows the staff of schools, daycares and other organizations to review this critical information on-site and at their own pace.
