TechQuest CD-ROM

Develop a tool that provides real-life resources to assist middle and high school students with choosing their career path, from where to go for education and training to finding companies located in the region that need employees with the skill sets described therein.

JPL developed a fun and interactive way for middle and high school students to learn about careers in technology. The CD project CD-ROM features detailed information about more than 45 technology-related careers. Each career description includes an overview of the duties associated with the career, information on educational requirements, salary ranges and the anticipated job growth for the career. Additionally, interviews with four young technology professionals employed in the Central Pennsylvania region are included on the CD-ROM.
